Biography

Laura Hipke is an American artist and curator. She was born in California but spent most of her childhood in the desert Southwest. Hipke is self-taught except for a brief stay at California Institute of the Arts when she was sixteen years old.  Her work can be found in the collection of the Museum of Tolerance and the Circle of Truth exhibition, a nine-year project with co-curator Shane Guffogg, is currently on tour at museums across the United States
